- Isaiah 63:9 - In all their suffering he also suffered, and he personally rescued them. In his love and mercy he redeemed them. He lifted them up and carried them through all the years.
- Isaiah 63:10 - But they rebelled against him and grieved his Holy Spirit. So he became their enemy and fought against them.
- Isaiah 63:11 - Then they remembered those days of old when Moses led his people out of Egypt. They cried out, “Where is the one who brought Israel through the sea, with Moses as their shepherd? Where is the one who sent his Holy Spirit to be among his people?

- Psalms 114:1 - When the Israelites escaped from Egypt— when the family of Jacob left that foreign land—
- Psalms 114:2 - the land of Judah became God’s sanctuary, and Israel became his kingdom.
- Psalms 114:3 - The Red Sea saw them coming and hurried out of their way! The water of the Jordan River turned away.
- Psalms 114:4 - The mountains skipped like rams, the hills like lambs!
- Psalms 114:5 - What’s wrong, Red Sea, that made you hurry out of their way? What happened, Jordan River, that you turned away?

- Genesis 17:7 - “I will confirm my covenant with you and your descendants after you, from generation to generation. This is the everlasting covenant: I will always be your God and the God of your descendants after you.

- Jeremiah 32:20 - You performed miraculous signs and wonders in the land of Egypt—things still remembered to this day! And you have continued to do great miracles in Israel and all around the world. You have made your name famous to this day.
- Jeremiah 32:21 - “You brought Israel out of Egypt with mighty signs and wonders, with a strong hand and powerful arm, and with overwhelming terror.
- Exodus 13:14 - “And in the future, your children will ask you, ‘What does all this mean?’ Then you will tell them, ‘With the power of his mighty hand, the Lord brought us out of Egypt, the place of our slavery.
- Psalms 105:23 - Then Israel arrived in Egypt; Jacob lived as a foreigner in the land of Ham.
- Psalms 105:24 - And the Lord multiplied the people of Israel until they became too mighty for their enemies.
- Acts of the Apostles 7:2 - This was Stephen’s reply: “Brothers and fathers, listen to me. Our glorious God appeared to our ancestor Abraham in Mesopotamia before he settled in Haran.

- Acts of the Apostles 7:43 - No, you carried your pagan gods— the shrine of Molech, the star of your god Rephan, and the images you made to worship them. So I will send you into exile as far away as Babylon.’

- Acts of the Apostles 7:47 - But it was Solomon who actually built it.
- Acts of the Apostles 7:48 - However, the Most High doesn’t live in temples made by human hands. As the prophet says,
- Acts of the Apostles 7:49 - ‘Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Could you build me a temple as good as that?’ asks the Lord. ‘Could you build me such a resting place?
- Acts of the Apostles 7:50 - Didn’t my hands make both heaven and earth?’
- Acts of the Apostles 7:51 - “You stubborn people! You are heathen at heart and deaf to the truth. Must you forever resist the Holy Spirit? That’s what your ancestors did, and so do you!
- Acts of the Apostles 7:52 - Name one prophet your ancestors didn’t persecute! They even killed the ones who predicted the coming of the Righteous One—the Messiah whom you betrayed and murdered.

- Deuteronomy 7:8 - Rather, it was simply that the Lord loves you, and he was keeping the oath he had sworn to your ancestors. That is why the Lord rescued you with such a strong hand from your slavery and from the oppressive hand of Pharaoh, king of Egypt.
