  • Acts 22:8 - “ ‘Who are you, Lord?’ I asked. “ ‘I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting,’ he replied.
  • Acts 22:9 - My companions saw the light, but they did not understand the voice of him who was speaking to me.
  • Acts 22:10 - “ ‘What shall I do, Lord?’ I asked. “ ‘Get up,’ the Lord said, ‘and go into Damascus. There you will be told all that you have been assigned to do.’

  • Acts 22:18 - and saw the Lord speaking to me. ‘Quick!’ he said. ‘Leave Jerusalem immediately, because the people here will not accept your testimony about me.’
  • Acts 22:19 - “ ‘Lord,’ I replied, ‘these people know that I went from one synagogue to another to imprison and beat those who believe in you.
  • Acts 22:20 - And when the blood of your martyr Stephen was shed, I stood there giving my approval and guarding the clothes of those who were killing him.’
  • Acts 22:21 - “Then the Lord said to me, ‘Go; I will send you far away to the Gentiles.’ ”
  • Acts 22:22 - The crowd listened to Paul until he said this. Then they raised their voices and shouted, “Rid the earth of him! He’s not fit to live!”

  • Matthew 11:29 - Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
  • Acts 2:38 - Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
  • Acts 5:31 - God exalted him to his own right hand as Prince and Savior that he might bring Israel to repentance and forgive their sins.

  • Mark 1:3 - “a voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.’ ”
  • Mark 1:4 - And so John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.
  • John 5:34 - Not that I accept human testimony; but I mention it that you may be saved.
  • 2 Timothy 3:7 - always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.
  • 1 Timothy 6:11 - But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.
  • Acts 8:22 - Repent of this wickedness and pray to the Lord in the hope that he may forgive you for having such a thought in your heart.
  • 1 John 5:16 - If you see any brother or sister commit a sin that does not lead to death, you should pray and God will give them life. I refer to those whose sin does not lead to death. There is a sin that leads to death. I am not saying that you should pray about that.
  • Acts 11:18 - When they heard this, they had no further objections and praised God, saying, “So then, even to Gentiles God has granted repentance that leads to life.”
  • 1 Peter 3:15 - But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,
  • 1 Timothy 2:4 - who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
  • Galatians 6:1 - Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.
