1 Samuel 9:16 - «Mañana, a esta hora, te voy a enviar un hombre de la tierra de Benjamín. Lo ungirás como gobernante de mi pueblo Israel, para que lo libre del poder de los filisteos. Me he compadecido de mi pueblo, pues sus gritos de angustia han llegado hasta mí».
1 Samuel 25:28 - Yo le ruego que perdone el atrevimiento de esta servidora suya. Ciertamente, el Señor le dará a usted una dinastía que se mantendrá firme, y nunca nadie podrá hacerle a usted ningún daño, pues usted pelea las batallas del Señor.
1 Samuel 18:5 - Cualquier encargo que David recibía de Saúl, lo cumplía con éxito, de modo que Saúl lo puso al mando de todo su ejército, con la aprobación de los soldados de Saúl y hasta de sus oficiales.
Juan 10:3 - El portero le abre la puerta, y las ovejas oyen su voz. Llama por nombre a las ovejas y las saca del redil.
Juan 10:4 - Cuando ya ha sacado a todas las que son suyas, va delante de ellas, y las ovejas lo siguen porque reconocen su voz.

Isaías 55:4 - Lo he puesto como testigo para los pueblos, como su jefe supremo.
Números 27:17 - uno que los dirija en sus campañas, que los lleve a la guerra y los traiga de vuelta a casa. Así el pueblo del Señor no se quedará como rebaño sin pastor.
1 Samuel 16:1 - El Señor le dijo a Samuel: —¿Cuánto tiempo vas a quedarte llorando por Saúl, si ya lo he rechazado como rey de Israel? Mejor llena de aceite tu cuerno, y ponte en camino. Voy a enviarte a Belén, a la casa de Isaí, pues he escogido como rey a uno de sus hijos.
Isaías 40:11 - Como un pastor que cuida su rebaño, recoge los corderos en sus brazos; los lleva junto a su pecho, y guía con cuidado a las recién paridas.
1 Samuel 18:13 - y lo alejó de su presencia, nombrándolo jefe de mil soldados para que dirigiera al ejército en campaña.
1 Samuel 25:30 - Así que, cuando el Señor le haya hecho todo el bien que le ha prometido, y lo haya establecido como jefe de Israel,
2 Samuel 7:7 - Todo el tiempo que anduve con los israelitas, cuando mandé a sus gobernantes que pastorearan a mi pueblo Israel, ¿acaso le reclamé a alguno de ellos el no haberme construido una casa de cedro?”
Ezequiel 34:23 - Entonces les daré un pastor, mi siervo David, que las apacentará y será su único pastor.
Miqueas 5:4 - Pero surgirá uno para pastorearlos con el poder del Señor, con la majestad del nombre del Señor su Dios. Vivirán seguros, porque él dominará hasta los confines de la tierra.
Ezequiel 37:24 - Mi siervo David será su rey, y todos tendrán un solo pastor. Caminarán según mis leyes, y cumplirán mis preceptos y los pondrán en práctica.
Ezequiel 37:25 - Habitarán en la tierra que le di a mi siervo Jacob, donde vivieron sus antepasados. Ellos, sus hijos y sus nietos vivirán allí para siempre, y mi siervo David será su príncipe eterno.
Mateo 2:6 - »“Pero tú, Belén, en la tierra de Judá, de ninguna manera eres la menor entre los principales de Judá; porque de ti saldrá un príncipe que será el pastor de mi pueblo Israel”».
