  • Deuteronomy 21:8 - O Lord, forgive your people Israel whom you have redeemed. Do not charge your people with the guilt of murdering an innocent person.’ Then they will be absolved of the guilt of this person’s blood.
  • Deuteronomy 21:9 - By following these instructions, you will do what is right in the Lord’s sight and will cleanse the guilt of murder from your community.
  • Hebrews 11:37 - Some died by stoning, some were sawed in half, and others were killed with the sword. Some went about wearing skins of sheep and goats, destitute and oppressed and mistreated.
  • 2 Kings 24:3 - These disasters happened to Judah because of the Lord’s command. He had decided to banish Judah from his presence because of the many sins of Manasseh,
  • 2 Kings 24:4 - who had filled Jerusalem with innocent blood. The Lord would not forgive this.
  • Jeremiah 19:4 - “‘For Israel has forsaken me and turned this valley into a place of wickedness. The people burn incense to foreign gods—idols never before acknowledged by this generation, by their ancestors, or by the kings of Judah. And they have filled this place with the blood of innocent children.
  • Matthew 23:30 - Then you say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our ancestors, we would never have joined them in killing the prophets.’
  • Matthew 23:31 - “But in saying that, you testify against yourselves that you are indeed the descendants of those who murdered the prophets.
  • 2 Chronicles 33:9 - But Manasseh led the people of Judah and Jerusalem to do even more evil than the pagan nations that the Lord had destroyed when the people of Israel entered the land.
  • Jeremiah 2:34 - Your clothing is stained with the blood of the innocent and the poor, though you didn’t catch them breaking into your houses!
  • 1 Kings 14:15 - Then the Lord will shake Israel like a reed whipped about in a stream. He will uproot the people of Israel from this good land that he gave their ancestors and will scatter them beyond the Euphrates River, for they have angered the Lord with the Asherah poles they have set up for worship.
  • 1 Kings 14:16 - He will abandon Israel because Jeroboam sinned and made Israel sin along with him.”
  • Luke 13:34 - “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones God’s messengers! How often I have wanted to gather your children together as a hen protects her chicks beneath her wings, but you wouldn’t let me.
  • Numbers 35:33 - This will ensure that the land where you live will not be polluted, for murder pollutes the land. And no sacrifice except the execution of the murderer can purify the land from murder.
  • 2 Kings 21:11 - “King Manasseh of Judah has done many detestable things. He is even more wicked than the Amorites, who lived in this land before Israel. He has caused the people of Judah to sin with his idols.
