  • Psalms 106:36 - They served their idols, Which became a snare to them.
  • Psalms 106:37 - They even sacrificed their sons And their daughters to demons,
  • Psalms 106:38 - And shed innocent blood, The blood of their sons and daughters, Whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan; And the land was polluted with blood.
  • Psalms 106:39 - Thus they were defiled by their own works, And played the harlot by their own deeds.
  • Psalms 106:40 - Therefore the wrath of the Lord was kindled against His people, So that He abhorred His own inheritance.
  • Deuteronomy 9:21 - Then I took your sin, the calf which you had made, and burned it with fire and crushed it and ground it very small, until it was as fine as dust; and I threw its dust into the brook that descended from the mountain.
  • Deuteronomy 31:29 - For I know that after my death you will become utterly corrupt, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you. And evil will befall you in the latter days, because you will do evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger through the work of your hands.”

  • Daniel 9:7 - O Lord, righteousness belongs to You, but to us shame of face, as it is this day—to the men of Judah, to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and all Israel, those near and those far off in all the countries to which You have driven them, because of the unfaithfulness which they have committed against You.
  • Daniel 9:8 - “O Lord, to us belongs shame of face, to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, because we have sinned against You.
  • Daniel 9:9 - To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against Him.
  • Daniel 9:10 - We have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in His laws, which He set before us by His servants the prophets.
  • Daniel 9:11 - Yes, all Israel has transgressed Your law, and has departed so as not to obey Your voice; therefore the curse and the oath written in the Law of Moses the servant of God have been poured out on us, because we have sinned against Him.
  • Ezekiel 20:21 - “Notwithstanding, the children rebelled against Me; they did not walk in My statutes, and were not careful to observe My judgments, ‘which, if a man does, he shall live by them’; but they profaned My Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out My fury on them and fulfill My anger against them in the wilderness.
  • Ezekiel 16:15 - “But you trusted in your own beauty, played the harlot because of your fame, and poured out your harlotry on everyone passing by who would have it.
  • Ezekiel 16:16 - You took some of your garments and adorned multicolored high places for yourself, and played the harlot on them. Such things should not happen, nor be.
  • Ezekiel 16:17 - You have also taken your beautiful jewelry from My gold and My silver, which I had given you, and made for yourself male images and played the harlot with them.
  • Ezekiel 16:18 - You took your embroidered garments and covered them, and you set My oil and My incense before them.
  • Ezekiel 16:19 - Also My food which I gave you—the pastry of fine flour, oil, and honey which I fed you—you set it before them as sweet incense; and so it was,” says the Lord God.
  • Ezekiel 16:20 - “Moreover you took your sons and your daughters, whom you bore to Me, and these you sacrificed to them to be devoured. Were your acts of harlotry a small matter,
  • Ezekiel 16:21 - that you have slain My children and offered them up to them by causing them to pass through the fire?
  • Ezekiel 16:22 - And in all your abominations and acts of harlotry you did not remember the days of your youth, when you were naked and bare, struggling in your blood.
  • Ezekiel 23:3 - They committed harlotry in Egypt, They committed harlotry in their youth; Their breasts were there embraced, Their virgin bosom was there pressed.
  • Ezekiel 20:4 - Will you judge them, son of man, will you judge them? Then make known to them the abominations of their fathers.
