  • Ezra 1:8 - Cyrus directed Mithredath, the treasurer of Persia, to count these items and present them to Sheshbazzar, the leader of the exiles returning to Judah.
  • Ezra 1:9 - This is a list of the items that were returned: gold basins 30 silver basins 1,000 silver incense burners 29
  • Ezra 1:10 - gold bowls 30 silver bowls 410 other items 1,000
  • Ezra 1:11 - In all, there were 5,400 articles of gold and silver. Sheshbazzar brought all of these along when the exiles went from Babylon to Jerusalem.
  • 1 Chronicles 28:16 - He designated the amount of gold for the table on which the Bread of the Presence would be placed and the amount of silver for other tables.
  • 2 Kings 25:13 - The Babylonians broke up the bronze pillars in front of the Lord’s Temple, the bronze water carts, and the great bronze basin called the Sea, and they carried all the bronze away to Babylon.
  • 2 Kings 25:14 - They also took all the ash buckets, shovels, lamp snuffers, ladles, and all the other bronze articles used for making sacrifices at the Temple.
  • 2 Kings 25:15 - The captain of the guard also took the incense burners and basins, and all the other articles made of pure gold or silver.
  • 1 Kings 7:48 - Solomon also made all the furnishings of the Temple of the Lord: the gold altar; the gold table for the Bread of the Presence;

  • 1 Kings 7:50 - the small bowls, lamp snuffers, bowls, ladles, and incense burners—all of solid gold; the doors for the entrances to the Most Holy Place and the main room of the Temple, with their fronts overlaid with gold.
  • Daniel 5:2 - While Belshazzar was drinking the wine, he gave orders to bring in the gold and silver cups that his predecessor, Nebuchadnezzar, had taken from the Temple in Jerusalem. He wanted to drink from them with his nobles, his wives, and his concubines.
  • Daniel 5:3 - So they brought these gold cups taken from the Temple, the house of God in Jerusalem, and the king and his nobles, his wives, and his concubines drank from them.
  • 2 Chronicles 36:18 - The king took home to Babylon all the articles, large and small, used in the Temple of God, and the treasures from both the Lord’s Temple and from the palace of the king and his officials.
  • 2 Chronicles 26:16 - But when he had become powerful, he also became proud, which led to his downfall. He sinned against the Lord his God by entering the sanctuary of the Lord’s Temple and personally burning incense on the incense altar.
  • 2 Chronicles 26:17 - Azariah the high priest went in after him with eighty other priests of the Lord, all brave men.
  • 2 Chronicles 26:18 - They confronted King Uzziah and said, “It is not for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to the Lord. That is the work of the priests alone, the descendants of Aaron who are set apart for this work. Get out of the sanctuary, for you have sinned. The Lord God will not honor you for this!”
  • Revelation 9:13 - Then the sixth angel blew his trumpet, and I heard a voice speaking from the four horns of the gold altar that stands in the presence of God.
  • Revelation 8:3 - Then another angel with a gold incense burner came and stood at the altar. And a great amount of incense was given to him to mix with the prayers of God’s people as an offering on the gold altar before the throne.
  • 2 Kings 24:13 - As the Lord had said beforehand, Nebuchadnezzar carried away all the treasures from the Lord’s Temple and the royal palace. He stripped away all the gold objects that King Solomon of Israel had placed in the Temple.
  • Jeremiah 52:18 - They also took all the ash buckets, shovels, lamp snuffers, basins, dishes, and all the other bronze articles used for making sacrifices at the Temple.
  • Jeremiah 52:19 - The captain of the guard also took the small bowls, incense burners, basins, pots, lampstands, ladles, bowls used for liquid offerings, and all the other articles made of pure gold or silver.
  • Exodus 37:25 - Then Bezalel made the incense altar of acacia wood. It was 18 inches square and 36 inches high, with horns at the corners carved from the same piece of wood as the altar itself.
  • Exodus 37:26 - He overlaid the top, sides, and horns of the altar with pure gold, and he ran a gold molding around the entire altar.
  • Exodus 37:27 - He made two gold rings and attached them on opposite sides of the altar below the gold molding to hold the carrying poles.
  • Exodus 37:28 - He made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.
  • Exodus 37:29 - Then he made the sacred anointing oil and the fragrant incense, using the techniques of a skilled incense maker.
  • Daniel 5:23 - For you have proudly defied the Lord of heaven and have had these cups from his Temple brought before you. You and your nobles and your wives and concubines have been drinking wine from them while praising gods of silver, gold, bronze, iron, wood, and stone—gods that neither see nor hear nor know anything at all. But you have not honored the God who gives you the breath of life and controls your destiny!
  • Exodus 25:23 - “Then make a table of acacia wood, 36 inches long, 18 inches wide, and 27 inches high.
  • Exodus 25:24 - Overlay it with pure gold and run a gold molding around the edge.
  • Exodus 25:25 - Decorate it with a 3-inch border all around, and run a gold molding along the border.
  • Exodus 25:26 - Make four gold rings for the table and attach them at the four corners next to the four legs.
  • Exodus 25:27 - Attach the rings near the border to hold the poles that are used to carry the table.
  • Exodus 25:28 - Make these poles from acacia wood, and overlay them with gold.
  • Exodus 25:29 - Make special containers of pure gold for the table—bowls, ladles, pitchers, and jars—to be used in pouring out liquid offerings.
  • Exodus 25:30 - Place the Bread of the Presence on the table to remain before me at all times.
