Leviticus 26:36 - As for those among you who are left, I will also bring despair into their hearts in the lands of their enemies. And the sound of a scattered leaf will chase them, and even when no one is pursuing they will flee as though from the sword, and they will fall.
Leviticus 26:37 - They will then stumble over each other as if running from the sword, although no one is pursuing; and you will have no strength to stand before your enemies.
Leviticus 26:38 - Instead, you will perish among the nations, and your enemies’ land will consume you.
Leviticus 26:39 - So those of you who may be left will rot away because of their wrongdoing in the lands of your enemies; and also because of the wrongdoing of their forefathers they will rot away with them.

Deuteronomy 29:20 - The Lord will not be willing to forgive him, but rather the anger of the Lord and His wrath will burn against that person, and every curse that is written in this book will lie upon him, and the Lord will wipe out his name from under heaven.
Deuteronomy 29:21 - Then the Lord will single him out for disaster from all the tribes of Israel, in accordance with all the curses of the covenant which is written in this Book of the Law.

Deuteronomy 29:23 - ‘All its land is brimstone and salt, burned debris, unsown and unproductive, and no grass grows on it, like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, which the Lord overthrew in His anger and in His wrath.’
Deuteronomy 29:24 - All the nations will say, ‘Why has the Lord done all this to this land? Why this great outburst of anger?’
Deuteronomy 29:25 - Then people will say, ‘It is because they abandoned the covenant of the Lord, the God of their fathers, which He made with them when He brought them out of the land of Egypt.
Deuteronomy 29:26 - And they went and served other gods and worshiped them, gods that they have not known and whom He had not assigned to them.
Deuteronomy 29:27 - Therefore, the anger of the Lord burned against that land, to bring upon it every curse which is written in this book;
Deuteronomy 29:28 - and the Lord uprooted them from their land in anger, fury, and in great wrath, and hurled them into another land, as it is this day.’
Isaiah 37:2 - Then he sent Eliakim, who was in charge of the household, with Shebna the scribe and the elders of the priests, covered with sackcloth, to Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz.

Deuteronomy 28:15 - “But it shall come about, if you do not obey the Lord your God, to be careful to follow all His commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:

Ezekiel 14:7 - For anyone of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who reside in Israel, who deserts Me, sets up his idols in his heart, puts in front of his face the stumbling block of his wrongdoing, and then comes to the prophet to request something of Me for himself, I the Lord will let Myself answer him Myself.
Ezekiel 14:8 - I will set My face against that person and make him a sign and a proverb, and I will eliminate him from among My people. So you will know that I am the Lord.
Ezekiel 14:9 - “But if the prophet is persuaded so that he speaks a word, it is I, the Lord, who have persuaded that prophet; and I will stretch out My hand against him and eliminate him from among My people Israel.
Ezekiel 14:10 - And they will bear the punishment for their wrongdoing; as the wrongdoing of the inquirer is, so the wrongdoing of the prophet will be,
Ezekiel 14:11 - in order that the house of Israel may no longer stray from Me and no longer defile themselves with all their offenses. So they will be My people, and I shall be their God,” ’ declares the Lord God.”
Jeremiah 21:2 - “Please inquire of the Lord in our behalf, because Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon is making war against us; perhaps the Lord will deal with us in accordance with all His wonderful acts, so that the enemy will withdraw from us.”

Ezekiel 20:1 - Now in the seventh year, in the fifth month, on the tenth of the month, men from the elders of Israel came to inquire of the Lord, and they sat before me.

Leviticus 26:23 - ‘And if by these things you do not learn your lesson regarding Me, but you show hostility toward Me,
Leviticus 26:24 - then I in turn will show hostility toward you; and I, even I, will strike you seven times for your sins.
Leviticus 26:25 - I will also bring upon you a sword which will execute vengeance for the covenant; and when you gather together into your cities, I will send a plague among you, so that you will be handed over to the enemy.
Leviticus 26:26 - When I break your staff of bread, ten women will bake your bread in one oven, and they will bring back your bread in rationed amounts, so that you will eat and not be satisfied.
Leviticus 26:27 - ‘Yet if in spite of this you do not obey Me, but act with hostility against Me,
Leviticus 26:28 - then I will act with wrathful hostility against you, and I for My part will punish you seven times for your sins.
Leviticus 26:29 - Further, you will eat the flesh of your sons, and you will eat the flesh of your daughters.
Leviticus 26:30 - I then will destroy your high places, and cut down your incense altars, and pile your remains on the remains of your idols, for My soul will loathe you.

Leviticus 26:35 - All the days of its desolation it will have the rest which it did not have on your Sabbaths, while you were living on it.
Leviticus 26:36 - As for those among you who are left, I will also bring despair into their hearts in the lands of their enemies. And the sound of a scattered leaf will chase them, and even when no one is pursuing they will flee as though from the sword, and they will fall.
Leviticus 26:37 - They will then stumble over each other as if running from the sword, although no one is pursuing; and you will have no strength to stand before your enemies.
Leviticus 26:38 - Instead, you will perish among the nations, and your enemies’ land will consume you.
Leviticus 26:39 - So those of you who may be left will rot away because of their wrongdoing in the lands of your enemies; and also because of the wrongdoing of their forefathers they will rot away with them.
Leviticus 26:40 - ‘But if they confess their wrongdoing and the wrongdoing of their forefathers, in their unfaithfulness which they committed against Me, and also in their acting with hostility against Me—
Leviticus 26:41 - I also was acting with hostility against them, to bring them into the land of their enemies—or if their uncircumcised heart is humbled so that they then make amends for their wrongdoing,
Leviticus 26:42 - then I will remember My covenant with Jacob, and I will remember also My covenant with Isaac, and My covenant with Abraham as well, and I will remember the land.
Leviticus 26:43 - For the land will be abandoned by them, and will restore its Sabbaths while it is made desolate without them. They, meanwhile, will be making amends for their wrongdoing, because they rejected My ordinances and their soul loathed My statutes.
Leviticus 26:44 - Yet in spite of this, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, nor will I so loathe them as to destroy them, breaking My covenant with them; for I am the Lord their God.
Leviticus 26:45 - But I will remember for them the covenant with their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, so that I might be their God. I am the Lord.’ ”
Leviticus 26:46 - These are the statutes and ordinances and laws which the Lord established between Himself and the sons of Israel through Moses on Mount Sinai.
2 Kings 17:6 - In the ninth year of Hoshea, the king of Assyria captured Samaria and led the people of Israel into exile to Assyria, and settled them in Halah and Habor, on the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.
2 Kings 17:7 - Now this came about because the sons of Israel had sinned against the Lord their God, who had brought them up from the land of Egypt, from under the hand of Pharaoh, king of Egypt; and they had feared other gods.
2 Chronicles 33:11 - Therefore the Lord brought the commanders of the army of the king of Assyria against them, and they captured Manasseh with hooks, bound him with bronze chains, and led him to Babylon.
Romans 4:15 - for the Law brings about wrath, but where there is no law, there also is no violation.
1 Kings 22:5 - However, Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, “Please request the word of the Lord first.”
1 Kings 22:6 - So the king of Israel assembled the prophets, about four hundred men, and said to them, “Should I go to battle against Ramoth-gilead or should I refrain?” And they said, “Go up, for the Lord will hand it over to the king.”
1 Kings 22:7 - But Jehoshaphat said, “Is there no longer a prophet of the Lord here, that we may inquire of him?”
Deuteronomy 31:16 - The Lord said to Moses, “Behold, you are about to lie down with your fathers; and this people will arise and play the prostitute with the foreign gods of the land into the midst of which they are going, and they will abandon Me and break My covenant which I have made with them.
Deuteronomy 31:17 - Then My anger will be kindled against them on that day, and I will abandon them and hide My face from them, and they will be consumed, and many evils and troubles will find them; so they will say on that day, ‘Is it not because our God is not among us that these evils have found us?’
Deuteronomy 31:18 - But I will assuredly hide My face on that day because of all the evil that they will have done, for they will have turned away to other gods.
Deuteronomy 31:19 - “Now then, write this song for yourselves, and teach it to the sons of Israel; put it on their lips, so that this song may be a witness for Me against the sons of Israel.
Deuteronomy 31:20 - For when I bring them into the land flowing with milk and honey, which I swore to their fathers, and they eat and are satisfied and become prosperous, then they will turn to other gods and serve them, and spurn Me and break My covenant.
Deuteronomy 31:21 - Then it will come about, when many evils and troubles find them, that this song will testify before them as a witness (for it shall not be forgotten from the mouth of their descendants); for I know their inclination which they are developing today, before I bring them into the land which I swore.”
Deuteronomy 31:22 - So Moses wrote down this song on the same day, and taught it to the sons of Israel.
Deuteronomy 30:17 - But if your heart turns away and you will not obey, but allow yourself to be led astray and you worship other gods and serve them,
Deuteronomy 30:18 - I declare to you today that you will certainly perish. You will not prolong your days in the land where you are crossing the Jordan to enter and take possession of it.
Deuteronomy 30:19 - I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have placed before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants,
2 Kings 22:13 - “Go, inquire of the Lord for me and for the people and all Judah concerning the words of this book that has been found, for the wrath of the Lord that burns against us is great, because our fathers did not listen to the words of this book, to act in accordance with everything that is written regarding us.”
Exodus 18:15 - Moses said to his father-in-law, “Because the people come to me to inquire of God.
2 Chronicles 29:8 - Therefore the wrath of the Lord was against Judah and Jerusalem, and He has made them an object of terror, of horror, and of hissing, as you see with your own eyes.
Deuteronomy 29:18 - so that there will not be among you a man or woman, or family or tribe, whose heart turns away today from the Lord our God, to go to serve the gods of those nations; that there will not be among you a root bearing poisonous fruit and wormwood.
Deuteronomy 29:19 - And it shall be when he hears the words of this curse, that he will consider himself fortunate in his heart, saying, ‘I will do well though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart in order to destroy the watered land along with the dry.’
Deuteronomy 29:20 - The Lord will not be willing to forgive him, but rather the anger of the Lord and His wrath will burn against that person, and every curse that is written in this book will lie upon him, and the Lord will wipe out his name from under heaven.
Deuteronomy 29:21 - Then the Lord will single him out for disaster from all the tribes of Israel, in accordance with all the curses of the covenant which is written in this Book of the Law.
Deuteronomy 29:22 - “Now the future generation, your sons who rise up after you and the foreigner who comes from a distant land, when they see the plagues of that land and the diseases with which the Lord has afflicted it, will say,
Deuteronomy 29:23 - ‘All its land is brimstone and salt, burned debris, unsown and unproductive, and no grass grows on it, like the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, which the Lord overthrew in His anger and in His wrath.’
Deuteronomy 29:24 - All the nations will say, ‘Why has the Lord done all this to this land? Why this great outburst of anger?’
Deuteronomy 29:25 - Then people will say, ‘It is because they abandoned the covenant of the Lord, the God of their fathers, which He made with them when He brought them out of the land of Egypt.
Deuteronomy 29:26 - And they went and served other gods and worshiped them, gods that they have not known and whom He had not assigned to them.
Deuteronomy 29:27 - Therefore, the anger of the Lord burned against that land, to bring upon it every curse which is written in this book;
Deuteronomy 29:28 - and the Lord uprooted them from their land in anger, fury, and in great wrath, and hurled them into another land, as it is this day.’
Isaiah 37:2 - Then he sent Eliakim, who was in charge of the household, with Shebna the scribe and the elders of the priests, covered with sackcloth, to Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz.
Isaiah 37:3 - And they said to him, “This is what Hezekiah says: ‘This day is a day of distress, rebuke, and humiliation; for children have come to the point of birth, and there is no strength to deliver them.
Isaiah 37:4 - Perhaps the Lord your God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom his master the king of Assyria has sent to taunt the living God, and will avenge the words which the Lord your God has heard. Therefore, offer a prayer for the remnant that is left.’ ”
Deuteronomy 28:15 - “But it shall come about, if you do not obey the Lord your God, to be careful to follow all His commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:
1 Samuel 9:9 - (Previously in Israel, when a man went to inquire of God, he used to say, “Come, and let’s go to the seer”; for he who is called a prophet now was previously called a seer.)
Romans 2:8 - but to those who are self-serving and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, He will give wrath and indignation.
Romans 2:9 - There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of mankind who does evil, for the Jew first and also for the Greek,

Romans 2:12 - For all who have sinned without the Law will also perish without the Law, and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law;
2 Chronicles 28:6 - For Pekah the son of Remaliah killed 120,000 in Judah in one day, all valiant men, because they had abandoned the Lord God of their fathers.
Ezekiel 14:1 - Then some elders of Israel came to me and sat down before me.
Ezekiel 14:2 - And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
Ezekiel 14:3 - “Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their hearts and have put in front of their faces the stumbling block of their wrongdoing. Should I let Myself be consulted by them at all?
Ezekiel 14:4 - Therefore speak to them and tell them, ‘This is what the Lord God says: “Anyone of the house of Israel who sets up his idols in his heart, puts in front of his face the stumbling block of his wrongdoing, and then comes to the prophet, I the Lord will let Myself answer him in the matter in view of the multitude of his idols,
Ezekiel 14:5 - in order to take hold of the hearts of the house of Israel who have turned away from Me due to all their idols.” ’
Ezekiel 14:6 - “Therefore say to the house of Israel, ‘This is what the Lord God says: “Repent and turn away from your idols, and turn your faces away from all your abominations.
Ezekiel 14:7 - For anyone of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who reside in Israel, who deserts Me, sets up his idols in his heart, puts in front of his face the stumbling block of his wrongdoing, and then comes to the prophet to request something of Me for himself, I the Lord will let Myself answer him Myself.
Ezekiel 14:8 - I will set My face against that person and make him a sign and a proverb, and I will eliminate him from among My people. So you will know that I am the Lord.
Ezekiel 14:9 - “But if the prophet is persuaded so that he speaks a word, it is I, the Lord, who have persuaded that prophet; and I will stretch out My hand against him and eliminate him from among My people Israel.
Ezekiel 14:10 - And they will bear the punishment for their wrongdoing; as the wrongdoing of the inquirer is, so the wrongdoing of the prophet will be,
Ezekiel 14:11 - in order that the house of Israel may no longer stray from Me and no longer defile themselves with all their offenses. So they will be My people, and I shall be their God,” ’ declares the Lord God.”
Jeremiah 21:2 - “Please inquire of the Lord in our behalf, because Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon is making war against us; perhaps the Lord will deal with us in accordance with all His wonderful acts, so that the enemy will withdraw from us.”
