They were put in charge of handing out the supplies to the other Levites.
Leviticus 2:10 - The rest of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and the priests in his family line. It is a very holy part of the food offerings presented to the Lord.

Ezra 1:4 - The people still left alive in every place must bring gifts to the people going. They must provide silver and gold to the people going up to Jerusalem. The people must bring goods and livestock. They should also bring any offerings they choose to. All those gifts will be for God’s temple in Jerusalem.’ ”
Leviticus 27:28 - “ ‘But nothing a person owns and sets apart to the Lord can be sold or bought back. It does not matter whether it is a human being or an animal or a family’s land. Everything set apart to the Lord is very holy to him.
Ezra 7:16 - Also take any other silver and gold you can get from the land of Babylon. And take the offerings the people and priests choose to give for the temple of their God in Jerusalem.
Leviticus 10:12 - Moses spoke to Aaron and to Eleazar and Ithamar. They were Aaron’s two remaining sons. Moses said, “Take the grain offering left over from the food offerings presented to the Lord. It is very holy. Make bread without yeast from it. Eat it beside the altar.
Leviticus 10:13 - Eat it in the holy area. It’s your share and your sons’ share of the food offerings presented to the Lord. These rules are in keeping with the command the Lord gave me.
1 Chronicles 26:12 - Those groups of men guarded the gates. They worked under their leaders. They served at the Lord’s temple, just as their relatives had served.
Numbers 29:39 - “ ‘Here are the offerings you must present to the Lord at your appointed feasts. They are burnt offerings, grain offerings, drink offerings and friendship offerings. They are in addition to the offerings you bring to keep a special promise you make to the Lord. They are also in addition to the offerings you choose to give.’ ”
Leviticus 7:1 - “ ‘Here are some more rules for guilt offerings. The guilt offering is very holy.
Leviticus 7:2 - You must kill the animal for the guilt offering where you kill the animal for the burnt offering. Splash its blood against the sides of the altar.
Leviticus 7:3 - Offer all its fat. It must include the fat tail and the fat that covers the inside parts.
Leviticus 7:4 - It must include both kidneys with the fat on them next to the lower back muscles. It must also include the long part of the liver. Remove all of it together with the kidneys.
Leviticus 7:5 - The priest must burn all of it on the altar. It is a food offering presented to the Lord. It is a guilt offering.
Leviticus 7:6 - Any male in a priest’s family can eat it. But he must eat it in the holy area. It is very holy.
Deuteronomy 12:6 - Take your burnt offerings and sacrifices to that place. Bring your special gifts and a tenth of everything you produce. Take with you what you have promised to give. Bring any other offerings you choose to give. And bring the male animals among your livestock that were born first to their mothers.
Nehemiah 13:13 - I put some men in charge of the storerooms. They were Shelemiah, Zadok and Pedaiah. Shelemiah was a priest. Zadok was a teacher of the law. And Pedaiah was a Levite. I made Hanan their assistant. He was the son of Zakkur. Zakkur was the son of Mattaniah. I knew that these men could be trusted. They were put in charge of handing out the supplies to the other Levites.
Leviticus 2:10 - The rest of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and the priests in his family line. It is a very holy part of the food offerings presented to the Lord.
Leviticus 6:16 - Aaron and the priests in his family line will eat the rest of it. But they must eat it without yeast in the holy area. They must eat it in the courtyard of the tent of meeting.
Leviticus 6:17 - It must not be baked with yeast added to it. The Lord has given it to the priests as their share of the food offerings presented to him. It is very holy, just like the sin offering and the guilt offering.
Leviticus 22:18 - “Speak to Aaron and his sons. Speak to all the Israelites. Tell them, ‘Suppose any of you brings a gift for a burnt offering to the Lord. It does not matter whether you are an Israelite or an outsider who lives in Israel. It does not matter whether you bring the offering to keep a promise or because you choose to give it.
