Números 17:2 - “Peça aos israelitas que tragam doze varas, uma de cada líder das tribos. Escreva o nome de cada líder em sua vara.
1 Samuel 12:17 - Não estamos na época da colheita do trigo? Pedirei ao Senhor que envie trovões e chuva para que vocês reconheçam que fizeram o que o Senhor reprova totalmente, quando pediram um rei”.
1 Samuel 12:18 - Então Samuel clamou ao Senhor, e naquele mesmo dia o Senhor enviou trovões e chuva. E assim todo o povo temeu grandemente ao Senhor e a Samuel.
1 Samuel 12:19 - E todo o povo disse a Samuel: “Ora ao Senhor, o teu Deus, em favor dos teus servos, para que não morramos, pois a todos os nossos pecados acrescentamos o mal de pedir um rei”.
1 Samuel 8:6 - Quando, porém, disseram: “Dá-nos um rei para que nos lidere”, isso desagradou a Samuel; então ele orou ao Senhor.
1 Samuel 8:7 - E o Senhor lhe respondeu: “Atenda a tudo o que o povo está pedindo; não foi a você que rejeitaram; foi a mim que rejeitaram como rei.
1 Samuel 8:8 - Assim como fizeram comigo desde o dia em que os tirei do Egito até hoje, abandonando-me e prestando culto a outros deuses, também estão fazendo com você.
1 Samuel 8:9 - Agora atenda-os; mas advirta-os solenemente e diga-lhes quais direitos reivindicará o rei que os governará”.
Miqueias 5:2 - “Mas tu, Belém-Efrata, embora pequena entre os clãs de Judá, de ti virá para mim aquele que será o governante sobre Israel. Suas origens estão no passado distante, em tempos antigos. ”
Josué 7:14 - “Apresentem-se de manhã, uma tribo de cada vez. A tribo que o Senhor escolher virá à frente, um clã de cada vez; o clã que o Senhor escolher virá à frente, uma família de cada vez; e a família que o Senhor escolher virá à frente, um homem de cada vez.
Josué 7:15 - Aquele que for pego com as coisas consagradas será queimado no fogo com tudo o que lhe pertence. Violou a aliança do Senhor e cometeu loucura em Israel!”
Josué 7:16 - Na manhã seguinte Josué mandou os israelitas virem à frente segundo as suas tribos, e a de Judá foi a escolhida.
Josué 7:17 - Os clãs de Judá vieram à frente, e ele escolheu os zeraítas. Fez o clã dos zeraítas vir à frente, família por família, e o escolhido foi Zinri.
Josué 7:18 - Josué fez a família de Zinri vir à frente, homem por homem, e Acã, filho de Carmi, filho de Zinri, filho de Zerá, da tribo de Judá, foi o escolhido.
Josué 7:19 - Então Josué disse a Acã: “Meu filho, para a glória do Senhor, o Deus de Israel, diga a verdade. Conte-me o que você fez; não me esconda nada”.
Josué 7:20 - Acã respondeu: “É verdade que pequei contra o Senhor, o Deus de Israel. O que fiz foi o seguinte:
Josué 7:21 - quando vi entre os despojos uma bela capa feita na Babilônia , dois quilos e quatrocentos gramas de prata e uma barra de ouro de seiscentos gramas , eu os cobicei e me apossei deles. Estão escondidos no chão da minha tenda, com a prata por baixo”.
Josué 7:22 - Josué enviou alguns homens que correram à tenda de Acã; lá estavam escondidas as coisas, com a prata por baixo.
Josué 7:23 - Retiraram-nas da tenda e as levaram a Josué e a todos os israelitas, e as puseram perante o Senhor.
Josué 7:24 - Então Josué, com todo o Israel, levou Acã, bisneto de Zerá, e a prata, a capa, a barra de ouro, seus filhos e filhas, seus bois, seus jumentos, suas ovelhas, sua tenda e tudo o que lhe pertencia, ao vale de Acor.
Josué 7:25 - Disse Josué: “Por que você nos causou esta desgraça? Hoje o Senhor causará a sua desgraça ”. E todo o Israel o apedrejou e depois apedrejou também os seus, e queimou tudo e todos eles no fogo.
Josué 7:26 - Sobre Acã ergueram um grande monte de pedras, que existe até hoje. Então o Senhor se afastou do fogo da sua ira. Por isso foi dado àquele lugar o nome de vale de Acor, nome que permanece até hoje.
Josué 24:1 - Então Josué reuniu todas as tribos de Israel em Siquém. Convocou as autoridades, os líderes, os juízes e os oficiais de Israel, e eles compareceram diante de Deus.
1 Samuel 8:19 - Todavia, o povo recusou-se a ouvir Samuel e disse: “Não! Queremos ter um rei.
