2 Corinthians 5:8 - we are [as I was saying] of good courage and confident hope, and prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.

1 Timothy 5:19 - Do not accept an accusation against an elder unless it is based on [the testimony of at least] two or three witnesses.

Acts 3:15 - But you killed the Prince (Author, Originator, Source) of life, whom God raised [bodily] from the dead. To this [fact] we are witnesses [for we have seen the risen Christ].
Acts 20:28 - Take care and be on guard for yourselves and for the whole flock over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you as overseers, to shepherd (tend, feed, guide) the church of God which He bought with His own blood.

Romans 8:18 - For I consider [from the standpoint of faith] that the sufferings of the present life are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us!
Colossians 3:3 - For you died [to this world], and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.
Colossians 3:4 - When Christ, who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
Luke 24:48 - You are witnesses of these things.
