Jeremiah 26:11 - The priests and prophets presented their accusations to the officials and the people. “This man should die!” they said. “You have heard with your own ears what a traitor he is, for he has prophesied against this city.”
Jeremiah 26:12 - Then Jeremiah spoke to the officials and the people in his own defense. “The Lord sent me to prophesy against this Temple and this city,” he said. “The Lord gave me every word that I have spoken.
Jeremiah 26:13 - But if you stop your sinning and begin to obey the Lord your God, he will change his mind about this disaster that he has announced against you.
Jeremiah 26:14 - As for me, I am in your hands—do with me as you think best.
Jeremiah 26:15 - But if you kill me, rest assured that you will be killing an innocent man! The responsibility for such a deed will lie on you, on this city, and on every person living in it. For it is absolutely true that the Lord sent me to speak every word you have heard.”
Isaiah 40:27 - O Jacob, how can you say the Lord does not see your troubles? O Israel, how can you say God ignores your rights?

1 Peter 2:15 - It is God’s will that your honorable lives should silence those ignorant people who make foolish accusations against you.
Psalms 138:8 - The Lord will work out his plans for my life— for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for you made me.
Psalms 146:5 - But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the Lord their God.

Romans 2:7 - He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers.
Psalms 37:5 - Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.
1 Peter 4:12 - Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you.
1 Peter 4:13 - Instead, be very glad—for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world.
1 Peter 4:14 - If you are insulted because you bear the name of Christ, you will be blessed, for the glorious Spirit of God rests upon you.
1 Peter 4:15 - If you suffer, however, it must not be for murder, stealing, making trouble, or prying into other people’s affairs.
1 Peter 4:16 - But it is no shame to suffer for being a Christian. Praise God for the privilege of being called by his name!
1 Peter 3:17 - Remember, it is better to suffer for doing good, if that is what God wants, than to suffer for doing wrong!
2 Timothy 1:12 - That is why I am suffering here in prison. But I am not ashamed of it, for I know the one in whom I trust, and I am sure that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until the day of his return.
