Luke 17:27 - People were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage – right up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.
Luke 17:28 - Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot, people were eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, building;
Luke 17:29 - but on the day Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
Luke 17:30 - It will be the same on the day the Son of Man is revealed.
Genesis 7:17 - The flood engulfed the earth for forty days. As the waters increased, they lifted the ark and raised it above the earth.
Genesis 7:18 - The waters completely overwhelmed the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the waters.

Genesis 7:23 - So the Lord destroyed every living thing that was on the surface of the ground, including people, animals, creatures that creep along the ground, and birds of the sky. They were wiped off the earth. Only Noah and those who were with him in the ark survived.
Romans 2:4 - Or do you have contempt for the wealth of his kindness, forbearance, and patience, and yet do not know that God’s kindness leads you to repentance?
Romans 2:5 - But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath for yourselves in the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment is revealed!

Genesis 6:3 - So the Lord said, “My spirit will not remain in humankind indefinitely, since they are mortal. They will remain for 120 more years.”
