Ecclesiastes 7:26
I discovered that a seductive woman is a trap more bitter than death. Her passion is a snare, and her soft hands are chains. Those who are pleasing to God will escape her, but sinners will be caught in her snare.
-
Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.

Psalms 57:4
I am surrounded by fierce lions who greedily devour human prey— whose teeth pierce like spears and arrows, and whose tongues cut like swords.

Psalms 55:21
His words are as smooth as butter, but in his heart is war. His words are as soothing as lotion, but underneath are daggers!

Proverbs 7:22-23
He followed her at once, like an ox going to the slaughter. He was like a stag caught in a trap, awaiting the arrow that would pierce its heart. He was like a bird flying into a snare, little knowing it would cost him his life.

Hebrews 12:15-16
Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many.Make sure that no one is immoral or godless like Esau, who traded his birthright as the firstborn son for a single meal.

Proverbs 6:24-35
It will keep you from the immoral woman, from the smooth tongue of a promiscuous woman.Don’t lust for her beauty. Don’t let her coy glances seduce you.For a prostitute will bring you to poverty, but sleeping with another man’s wife will cost you your life. Can a man scoop a flame into his lap and not have his clothes catch on fire? Can he walk on hot coals and not blister his feet?So it is with the man who sleeps with another man’s wife. He who embraces her will not go unpunished.Excuses might be found for a thief who steals because he is starving. But if he is caught, he must pay back seven times what he stole, even if he has to sell everything in his house. But the man who commits adultery is an utter fool, for he destroys himself. He will be wounded and disgraced. His shame will never be erased. For the woman’s jealous husband will be furious, and he will show no mercy when he takes revenge. He will accept no compensation, nor be satisfied with a payoff of any size.
-
Proverbs 23:27-28
A prostitute is a dangerous trap; a promiscuous woman is as dangerous as falling into a narrow well. She hides and waits like a robber, eager to make more men unfaithful.

Judges 16:4-6
Some time later Samson fell in love with a woman named Delilah, who lived in the valley of Sorek. The rulers of the Philistines went to her and said,“ Entice Samson to tell you what makes him so strong and how he can be overpowered and tied up securely. Then each of us will give you 1,100 pieces of silver.”So Delilah said to Samson,“ Please tell me what makes you so strong and what it would take to tie you up securely.”

Judges 16:15-21
Then Delilah pouted,“ How can you tell me,‘ I love you,’ when you don’t share your secrets with me? You’ve made fun of me three times now, and you still haven’t told me what makes you so strong!”She tormented him with her nagging day after day until he was sick to death of it.Finally, Samson shared his secret with her.“ My hair has never been cut,” he confessed,“ for I was dedicated to God as a Nazirite from birth. If my head were shaved, my strength would leave me, and I would become as weak as anyone else.”Delilah realized he had finally told her the truth, so she sent for the Philistine rulers.“ Come back one more time,” she said,“ for he has finally told me his secret.” So the Philistine rulers returned with the money in their hands.Delilah lulled Samson to sleep with his head in her lap, and then she called in a man to shave off the seven locks of his hair. In this way she began to bring him down, and his strength left him. Then she cried out,“ Samson! The Philistines have come to capture you!” When he woke up, he thought,“ I will do as before and shake myself free.” But he didn’t realize the Lord had left him.So the Philistines captured him and gouged out his eyes. They took him to Gaza, where he was bound with bronze chains and forced to grind grain in the prison.
