  • Romans 3:25 - whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in God’s merciful restraint He let the sins previously committed go unpunished;
  • Romans 3:26 - for the demonstration, that is, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
  • Job 33:24 - And he is gracious to him, and says, ‘Free him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom’;
  • John 11:50 - nor are you taking into account that it is in your best interest that one man die for the people, and that the whole nation not perish instead.”
  • John 11:51 - Now he did not say this on his own, but as he was high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus was going to die for the nation;

  • Daniel 9:24 - “Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the wrongdoing, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for guilt, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy Place.
