Numbers 18:21-32
And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve,[ even] the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.Neither must the children of Israel henceforth come nigh the tabernacle of the congregation, lest they bear sin, and die.But the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity:[ it shall be] a statute for ever throughout your generations, that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance. But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer[ as] an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When ye take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then ye shall offer up an heave offering of it for the LORD,[ even] a tenth[ part] of the tithe. And[ this] your heave offering shall be reckoned unto you, as though[ it were] the corn of the threshingfloor, and as the fulness of the winepress. Thus ye also shall offer an heave offering unto the LORD of all your tithes, which ye receive of the children of Israel; and ye shall give thereof the LORD’S heave offering to Aaron the priest.Out of all your gifts ye shall offer every heave offering of the LORD, of all the best thereof,[ even] the hallowed part thereof out of it.Therefore thou shalt say unto them, When ye have heaved the best thereof from it, then it shall be counted unto the Levites as the increase of the threshingfloor, and as the increase of the winepress. And ye shall eat it in every place, ye and your households: for it[ is] your reward for your service in the tabernacle of the congregation. And ye shall bear no sin by reason of it, when ye have heaved from it the best of it: neither shall ye pollute the holy things of the children of Israel, lest ye die.

Leviticus 27:2-34
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons[ shall be] for the LORD by thy estimation. And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary. And if it[ be] a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels. And if[ it be] from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels. And if[ it be] from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation[ shall be] three shekels of silver. And if[ it be] from sixty years old and above; if[ it be] a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels. But if he be poorer than thy estimation, then he shall present himself before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to his ability that vowed shall the priest value him.And if[ it be] a beast, whereof men bring an offering unto the LORD, all that[ any man] giveth of such unto the LORD shall be holy.He shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and if he shall at all change beast for beast, then it and the exchange thereof shall be holy. And if[ it be] any unclean beast, of which they do not offer a sacrifice unto the LORD, then he shall present the beast before the priest:And the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: as thou valuest it,[ who art] the priest, so shall it be.But if he will at all redeem it, then he shall add a fifth[ part] thereof unto thy estimation. And when a man shall sanctify his house[ to be] holy unto the LORD, then the priest shall estimate it, whether it be good or bad: as the priest shall estimate it, so shall it stand. And if he that sanctified it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth[ part] of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be his.And if a man shall sanctify unto the LORD[ some part] of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed[ shall be valued] at fifty shekels of silver. If he sanctify his field from the year of jubile, according to thy estimation it shall stand. But if he sanctify his field after the jubile, then the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain, even unto the year of the jubile, and it shall be abated from thy estimation. And if he that sanctified the field will in any wise redeem it, then he shall add the fifth[ part] of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him.And if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more. But the field, when it goeth out in the jubile, shall be holy unto the LORD, as a field devoted; the possession thereof shall be the priest’s.And if[ a man] sanctify unto the LORD a field which he hath bought, which[ is] not of the fields of his possession; Then the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation,[ even] unto the year of the jubile: and he shall give thine estimation in that day,[ as] a holy thing unto the LORD.In the year of the jubile the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought,[ even] to him to whom the possession of the land[ did belong].And all thy estimations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.Only the firstling of the beasts, which should be the LORD’S firstling, no man shall sanctify it; whether[ it be] ox, or sheep: it[ is] the LORD’S.And if[ it be] of an unclean beast, then he shall redeem[ it] according to thine estimation, and shall add a fifth[ part] of it thereto: or if it be not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to thy estimation.Notwithstanding no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto the LORD of all that he hath,[ both] of man and beast, and of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing[ is] most holy unto the LORD.None devoted, which shall be devoted of men, shall be redeemed;[ but] shall surely be put to death. And all the tithe of the land,[ whether] of the seed of the land,[ or] of the fruit of the tree,[ is] the LORD’S:[ it is] holy unto the LORD.And if a man will at all redeem[ ought] of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth[ part] thereof. And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock,[ even] of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the LORD.He shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he change it at all, then both it and the change thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed. These[ are] the commandments, which the LORD commanded Moses for the children of Israel in mount Sinai.

Nehemiah 13:4-14
And before this, Eliashib the priest, having the oversight of the chamber of the house of our God,[ was] allied unto Tobiah:And he had prepared for him a great chamber, where aforetime they laid the meat offerings, the frankincense, and the vessels, and the tithes of the corn, the new wine, and the oil, which was commanded[ to be given] to the Levites, and the singers, and the porters; and the offerings of the priests. But in all this[ time] was not I at Jerusalem: for in the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerxes king of Babylon came I unto the king, and after certain days obtained I leave of the king:And I came to Jerusalem, and understood of the evil that Eliashib did for Tobiah, in preparing him a chamber in the courts of the house of God.And it grieved me sore: therefore I cast forth all the household stuff of Tobiah out of the chamber. Then I commanded, and they cleansed the chambers: and thither brought I again the vessels of the house of God, with the meat offering and the frankincense. And I perceived that the portions of the Levites had not been given[ them]: for the Levites and the singers, that did the work, were fled every one to his field. Then contended I with the rulers, and said, Why is the house of God forsaken? And I gathered them together, and set them in their place. Then brought all Judah the tithe of the corn and the new wine and the oil unto the treasuries. And I made treasurers over the treasuries, Shelemiah the priest, and Zadok the scribe, and of the Levites, Pedaiah: and next to them[ was] Hanan the son of Zaccur, the son of Mattaniah: for they were counted faithful, and their office[ was] to distribute unto their brethren.Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and wipe not out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for the offices thereof.

Leviticus 5:15-16
If a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his trespass unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering:And he shall make amends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.
