So Gideon and the hundred men who were with him came to the outskirts of the camp at the beginning of the middle night watch, when they had just posted the watch; and they blew the trumpets and smashed the pitchers that were in their hands. When the three units blew the trumpets and broke the pitchers, they held the torches in their left hands and the trumpets in their right hands for blowing, and shouted,“ A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!”And each stood in his place around the camp; and all the army ran, crying out as they fled.

1 Samuel 17 45-1 Samuel 17 52
But David said to the Philistine,“ You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a saber, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of armies, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will hand you over to me, and I will strike you and remove your head from you. Then I will give the dead bodies of the army of the Philistines this day to the birds of the sky and the wild animals of the earth, so that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel, and that this entire assembly may know that the Lord does not save by sword or by spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will hand you over to us!”Then it happened, when the Philistine came closer to meet David, that David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet the Philistine. And David put his hand into his bag and took from it a stone and slung it, and struck the Philistine on his forehead. And the stone penetrated his forehead, and he fell on his face to the ground. So David prevailed over the Philistine with the sling and the stone: he struck the Philistine and killed him, and there was no sword in David’s hand. Then David ran and stood over the Philistine, and took his sword and drew it out of its sheath and finished him, and cut off his head with it. When the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled. Then the men of Israel and Judah rose up and shouted, and they pursued the Philistines as far as the valley, and to the gates of Ekron. And the Philistine dead lay along the way to Shaaraim, even to Gath and Ekron.

1 Samuel 14 6-1 Samuel 14 16
Then Jonathan said to the young man who was carrying his armor,“ Come, and let’s cross over to the garrison of these uncircumcised men; perhaps the Lord will work for us, because the Lord is not limited to saving by many or by few!”His armor bearer said to him,“ Do everything that is in your heart; turn yourself to it, and here I am with you, as your heart desires.”Then Jonathan said,“ Behold, we are going to cross over to the men and reveal ourselves to them.If they say to us,‘ Wait until we come to you’; then we will stand in our place and not go up to them. But if they say,‘ Come up to us,’ then we will go up, for the Lord has handed them over to us; and this shall be the sign to us.”When the two of them revealed themselves to the garrison of the Philistines, the Philistines said,“ Behold, Hebrews are coming out of the holes where they have kept themselves hidden.”So the men of the garrison responded to Jonathan and his armor bearer and said,“ Come up to us and we will inform you of something.” And Jonathan said to his armor bearer,“ Come up after me, for the Lord has handed them over to Israel.”Then Jonathan climbed up on his hands and feet, with his armor bearer behind him; and the men fell before Jonathan, and his armor bearer put some to death after him.Now that first slaughter which Jonathan and his armor bearer inflicted was about twenty men within about half a furrow in an acre of land. And there was a trembling in the camp, in the field, and among all the people. Even the garrison and the raiders trembled, and the earth quaked so that it became a great trembling. Now Saul’s watchmen in Gibeah of Benjamin looked, and behold, the multitude dissolved; they went here and there.

I would quickly subdue their enemies And turn My hand against their adversaries. Those who hate the Lord would pretend to obey Him, And their time of punishment would be forever.
