So Elisha said to her,“ What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said,“ Your servant has nothing in the house except a jar of oil.”Then he said,“ Go, borrow containers elsewhere for yourself, empty containers from all your neighbors— do not get too few.Then you shall come in and shut the door behind you and your sons, and pour into all these containers; and you shall set aside what is full.”So she left him and shut the door behind her and her sons; they began bringing the containers to her, and she poured the oil.When the containers were full, she said to her son,“ Bring me another container.” But he said to her,“ There are no more containers.” Then the oil stopped.

However, Elijah said to her,“ Do not fear; go, do as you have said. Just make me a little bread loaf from it first and bring it out to me, and afterward you may make one for yourself and for your son.

Mark 11:2-6
and* said to them,“ Go into the village opposite you, and immediately as you enter it you will find a colt tied there, on which no one has ever sat; untie it and bring it here.And if anyone says to you,‘ Why are you doing this?’ say,‘ The Lord has need of it’; and immediately he will send it back here.”They went away and found a colt tied at the door, outside in the street; and they* untied it.And some of the bystanders were saying to them,“ What are you doing, untying the colt?”And they told them just as Jesus had said, and they gave them permission.

Joshua 6:3-5
And you shall march around the city, all the men of war circling the city once. You shall do so for six days.Also seven priests shall carry seven trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the ark; then on the seventh day you shall march around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets.It shall be that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city will fall down flat, and the people shall go up, everyone straight ahead.”

And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying,“ Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh will be restored to you and you will be clean.”But Naaman was furious and went away, and he said,“ Behold, I thought,‘ He will certainly come out to me, and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, and wave his hand over the site and cure the leprosy.’Are Abanah and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, not better than all the waters of Israel? Could I not wash in them and be clean?” So he turned and went away in a rage.Then his servants approached and spoke to him, saying,“ My father, had the prophet told you to do some great thing, would you not have done it? How much more then, when he says to you,‘ Wash, and be clean’?”So he went down and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times, in accordance with the word of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

On the first day of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover lamb was being sacrificed, His disciples* said to Him,“ Where do You want us to go and prepare for You to eat the Passover?”And He* sent two of His disciples and* said to them,“ Go into the city, and a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you; follow him;and wherever he enters, say to the owner of the house,‘ The Teacher says,“ Where is My guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?” ’And he himself will show you a large upstairs room furnished and ready; prepare for us there.”The disciples left and came to the city, and found everything just as He had told them; and they prepared the Passover.When it was evening He* came with the twelve.

Numbers 21:6-9
Then the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people and they bit the people, so that many people of Israel died.So the people came to Moses and said,“ We have sinned, because we have spoken against the Lord and against you; intercede with the Lord, that He will remove the serpents from us.” And Moses interceded for the people.Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Make a fiery serpent, and put it on a flag pole; and it shall come about, that everyone who is bitten, and looks at it, will live.”So Moses made a bronze serpent and put it on the flag pole; and it came about, that if a serpent bit someone, and he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.

But an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying,“ Get ready and go south to the road that descends from Jerusalem to Gaza.”( This is a desert road.)So he got ready and went; and there was an Ethiopian eunuch, a court official of Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was in charge of all her treasure; and he had come to Jerusalem to worship,and he was returning and sitting in his chariot, and was reading Isaiah the prophet.Then the Spirit said to Philip,“ Go up and join this chariot.”Philip ran up and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said,“ Do you understand what you are reading?”And he said,“ Well, how could I, unless someone guides me?” And he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.Now the passage of Scripture which he was reading was this:“ He was led like a sheep to slaughter; And like a lamb that is silent before its shearer, So He does not open His mouth.In humiliation His justice was taken away; Who will describe His generation? For His life is taken away from the earth.”The eunuch answered Philip and said,“ Please tell me, of whom does the prophet say this? Of himself, or of someone else?”Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning from this Scripture he preached Jesus to him.As they went along the road they came to some water; and the eunuch* said,“ Look! Water! What prevents me from being baptized?”
