Hebrews 2:9-15
What we do see is Jesus, who for a little while was given a position“ a little lower than the angels”; and because he suffered death for us, he is now“ crowned with glory and honor.” Yes, by God’s grace, Jesus tasted death for everyone.God, for whom and through whom everything was made, chose to bring many children into glory. And it was only right that he should make Jesus, through his suffering, a perfect leader, fit to bring them into their salvation. So now Jesus and the ones he makes holy have the same Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them his brothers and sisters. For he said to God,“ I will proclaim your name to my brothers and sisters. I will praise you among your assembled people.”He also said,“ I will put my trust in him,” that is,“ I and the children God has given me.”Because God’s children are human beings— made of flesh and blood— the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death.Only in this way could he set free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying.

Hebrews 1:2-3
And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he created the universe. The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven.

John 16:16-22
“ In a little while you won’t see me anymore. But a little while after that, you will see me again.”Some of the disciples asked each other,“ What does he mean when he says,‘ In a little while you won’t see me, but then you will see me,’ and‘ I am going to the Father’?And what does he mean by‘ a little while’? We don’t understand.”Jesus realized they wanted to ask him about it, so he said,“ Are you asking yourselves what I meant? I said in a little while you won’t see me, but a little while after that you will see me again.I tell you the truth, you will weep and mourn over what is going to happen to me, but the world will rejoice. You will grieve, but your grief will suddenly turn to wonderful joy.It will be like a woman suffering the pains of labor. When her child is born, her anguish gives way to joy because she has brought a new baby into the world. So you have sorrow now, but I will see you again; then you will rejoice, and no one can rob you of that joy.

1 Corinthians 15 24-1 Corinthians 15 28
After that the end will come, when he will turn the Kingdom over to God the Father, having destroyed every ruler and authority and power. For Christ must reign until he humbles all his enemies beneath his feet. And the last enemy to be destroyed is death. For the Scriptures say,“ God has put all things under his authority.”( Of course, when it says“ all things are under his authority,” that does not include God himself, who gave Christ his authority.)Then, when all things are under his authority, the Son will put himself under God’s authority, so that God, who gave his Son authority over all things, will be utterly supreme over everything everywhere.

Hebrews 3:1-4
And so, dear brothers and sisters who belong to God and are partners with those called to heaven, think carefully about this Jesus whom we declare to be God’s messenger and High Priest. For he was faithful to God, who appointed him, just as Moses served faithfully when he was entrusted with God’s entire house. But Jesus deserves far more glory than Moses, just as a person who builds a house deserves more praise than the house itself. For every house has a builder, but the one who built everything is God.

Philippians 2:6-11
Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to.Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form,he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Princes will also bow low because of the Lord, the faithful one, the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.”
