The One who comes from heaven is above all.He testifies to what He has seen and heard, yet no one accepts His testimony.The one who has accepted His testimony has affirmed that God is true.For God sent Him, and He speaks God’s words, since He gives the Spirit without measure.The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hands.The one who believes in the Son has eternal life, but the one who refuses to believe in the Son will not see life; instead, the wrath of God remains on him.

Luke 7:26-30
What then did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and far more than a prophet.This is the one it is written about: Look, I am sending My messenger ahead of You; he will prepare Your way before You.I tell you, among those born of women no one is greater than John, but the least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.”( And when all the people, including the tax collectors, heard this, they acknowledged God’s way of righteousness, because they had been baptized with John’s baptism.But since the Pharisees and experts in the law had not been baptized by him, they rejected the plan of God for themselves.)

So they brought to Him all those who were afflicted, those suffering from various diseases and intense pains, the demon-possessed, the epileptics, and the paralytics. And He healed them.Large crowds followed Him from Galilee, Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan.
