Zechariah 11:10-14
And I took my staff,[ even] Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people. And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it[ was] the word of the LORD.And I said unto them, If ye think good, give[ me] my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty[ pieces] of silver. And the LORD said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty[ pieces] of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.Then I cut asunder mine other staff,[ even] Bands, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.

Revelation 18:14-20
And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What[ city is] like unto this great city! And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.Rejoice over her,[ thou] heaven, and[ ye] holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

Ezekiel 19:11-14
And she had strong rods for the sceptres of them that bare rule, and her stature was exalted among the thick branches, and she appeared in her height with the multitude of her branches. But she was plucked up in fury, she was cast down to the ground, and the east wind dried up her fruit: her strong rods were broken and withered; the fire consumed them. And now she[ is] planted in the wilderness, in a dry and thirsty ground. And fire is gone out of a rod of her branches,[ which] hath devoured her fruit, so that she hath no strong rod[ to be] a sceptre to rule. This[ is] a lamentation, and shall be for a lamentation.

Jeremiah 9:17-20
Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Consider ye, and call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for cunning[ women], that they may come:And let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters. For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion, How are we spoiled! we are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because our dwellings have cast[ us] out.Yet hear the word of the LORD, O ye women, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth, and teach your daughters wailing, and every one her neighbour lamentation.
