Nehemiah 13:1-2
At that time the book of Moses was read publicly to the people. The command was found written in it that no Ammonite or Moabite should ever enter the assembly of God,because they did not meet the Israelites with food and water. Instead, they hired Balaam against them to curse them, but our God turned the curse into a blessing.

Nehemiah 4:7
When Sanballat, Tobiah, and the Arabs, Ammonites, and Ashdodites heard that the repair to the walls of Jerusalem was progressing and that the gaps were being closed, they became furious.

He slept with her, and the LORD granted conception to her, and she gave birth to a son.The women said to Naomi,“ Blessed be the LORD, who has not left you without a family redeemer today. May his name become well known in Israel.He will renew your life and sustain you in your old age. Indeed, your daughter-in-law, who loves you and is better to you than seven sons, has given birth to him.”Naomi took the child, placed him on her lap, and became a mother to him.The neighbor women said,“ A son has been born to Naomi,” and they named him Obed. He was the father of Jesse, the father of David.Now these are the family records of Perez: Perez fathered Hezron,Hezron fathered Ram, Ram fathered Amminadab,Amminadab fathered Nahshon, Nahshon fathered Salmon,Salmon fathered Boaz, Boaz fathered Obed,Obed fathered Jesse, and Jesse fathered David.

The redeemer replied,“ I can’t redeem it myself, or I will ruin my own inheritance. Take my right of redemption, because I can’t redeem it.”
