Leviticus 7:7
As the sin offering[ is], so[ is] the trespass offering:[ there is] one law for them: the priest that maketh atonement therewith shall have[ it].

Leviticus 5:15-18
If a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his trespass unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering:And he shall make amends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he wist[ it] not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance wherein he erred and wist[ it] not, and it shall be forgiven him.

And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering.

And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the LORD: it[ is] a sin offering.

All the heave offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer unto the LORD, have I given thee, and thy sons and thy daughters with thee, by a statute for ever: it[ is] a covenant of salt for ever before the LORD unto thee and to thy seed with thee.

And the LORD spake unto Aaron, Behold, I also have given thee the charge of mine heave offerings of all the hallowed things of the children of Israel; unto thee have I given them by reason of the anointing, and to thy sons, by an ordinance for ever.This shall be thine of the most holy things,[ reserved] from the fire: every oblation of theirs, every meat offering of theirs, and every sin offering of theirs, and every trespass offering of theirs, which they shall render unto me,[ shall be] most holy for thee and for thy sons.

But if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass unto, let the trespass be recompensed unto the LORD,[ even] to the priest; beside the ram of the atonement, whereby an atonement shall be made for him.And every offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel, which they bring unto the priest, shall be his.And every man’s hallowed things shall be his: whatsoever any man giveth the priest, it shall be his.
