He said,“ Do it a third time;” and they did it the third time.The water ran around the altar; and he also filled the trench with water.At the time of the evening offering, Elijah the prophet came near, and said,“ Yahweh, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known today that you are God in Israel, and that I am your servant, and that I have done all these things at your word.

Now David fled and escaped, and came to Samuel at Ramah, and told him all that Saul had done to him. Saul sent messengers again the third time, and they also prophesied.Then he also went to Ramah, and came to the great well that is in Secu: and he asked,“ Where are Samuel and David?” One said,“ Behold, they are at Naioth in Ramah.”He went there to Naioth in Ramah. Then God’s Spirit came on him also, and he went on, and prophesied, until he came to Naioth in Ramah.
